  • SHSU Test Journal

This journal serves as a platform for student advancement and the broader academic community within the Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. For our students, it provides an opportunity to secure publication experience, allowing students to build their scientific writing, critical thinking, and professional communication skills. The initiative also fosters collaboration among students and between students and faculty, encouraging professional mentorship while creating an interconnected scholarly community. Beyond individual growth, the journal aims to support the institutional and wider medical landscape. It effectively highlights the intellectual capabilities and innovative drive of our osteopathic students, adding new perspectives to medical knowledge. Importantly, we aim to create a lasting academic record of their scholarly contributions. Our long-term goal for this journal is to create a highly regarded platform for medical student research and creative work, ultimately inspiring and guiding future osteopathic physicians and researchers.
